The House of Refuge East, consisting of 88 unfurnished homes, shelters abused families with approximately 150 children. It is located on the ASU East Campus at Williams Field & Power Roads.
The Families are given an unfurnished 2 bedroom home and many arrive with only the clothes on their backs. Most of them need all the basic items it takes to furnish a home--kitchen items, furniture, linens -- just think about basic existence.
